From its historical roots to its unique cultural heritage, the City of Bishop hosts a variety of events and celebrations throughout the year. Our largest annual events include the Christmas in the Park celebration, which officially kicks off the town’s holiday festivities on the first Friday in December. Activities include the lighting of the town Christmas tree, a meet and greet with Santa and carols and performances by our schools’ theatre and music departments. One of the largest attractions is also the annual Wild Horse Desert Roundup in which our city gathers to remember our past, honor our present and celebrate our future.
